Deliciously Quick Pasta Delight
Discover a quick and delightful pasta dish that’s perfect for weeknight dinners! Ready in just 30 minutes and bursting with flavor, this recipe serves up to 4 hungry diners.
Total Time and Yield
Total Time: 30 minutes
Yield: 4 servings
Ingredients
- 12 oz. spaghetti
- Kosher salt
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp. smoked paprika
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Chopped salted roasted almonds and parsley (optional, for garnish)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1: Start by boiling a large pot filled with generously salted water. Add in the spaghetti and cook, stirring occasionally, until it's al dente. After draining, don’t forget to save about 2 cups of that flavorful pasta cooking liquid.
Step 2: In the same pot, melt the unsalted butter over medium-high heat. Keep stirring to prevent it from burning. Cook until the butter foams, turns golden, and fills your kitchen with an enticing aroma—this should take about 4 minutes. Next, throw in the sliced garlic and smoked paprika, stirring quickly. Now, add your reserved pasta and ½ cup of the saved pasta liquid. Continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently until a glossy, loose sauce comes together. Adjust the seasoning with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
Step 3: Serve the pasta in shallow bowls, garnishing with chopped salted roasted almonds and parsley for that extra crunch and freshness, if desired. Enjoy your hearty and quick meal!
